TIPA Classes of Assessment

Béatrix Barafort, Valérie Betry, Stéphane Cortina, Michel Picard, Alain Renault

The original TIPA process assessment method was recommending to follow the same steps whatever the purpose of the assessment was. At least two assessors were required (including one Lead Assessor), the same activities were performed, the same documents and results were produced whether the purpose was to publicly display the assessment results or to perform a quick check-up of an organization.

The Classes of Assessment allow to size the effort put in the assessment project based on the level of confidence expected from the assessment results.
