How to get certified?
The TIPA Assessor for ITIL certification introduces the concepts and keys components of TIPA and should be followed by assessors who play a role in a TIPA process assessment. The steps involved in getting certified are:
Take the ‘TIPA Assessor for ITIL’ course
This 3-day course equips the individual with the ability to perform a process assessment based on the TIPA methodology adapted for ITIL®, under the leadership of a TIPA Lead Assessor. The course enables participants to make use of the tools provided in the TIPA toolbox, and prepares participants for conducting interviews, assessing and rating processes, determining the current ITSM process maturity, writing the assessment report, and providing recommendations for process optimization. The course and exam are delivered worldwide by training organizations that are authorized to deliver official TIPA courses.
Pass the exam and get certified
The certification is awarded to those who complete the ‘TIPA Assessor for ITIL’ course and successfully pass the relevant examination. The exam is closed book, multiple choice, scenario based and gradient scored questions can be taken at the end of the three day TIPA Assessor for ITIL course.
Maintaining the TIPA Assessor certification ensures the ongoing official backing of TIPA and provision of continued certification services for the individual.
